Day 1

Arrive at Double Mouth Caravan sight.

Day 2

Depart Kei Mouth via Kei River Ferry to The Haven Hotel which is inside the Cwebe Nature
Reserve. After the town of Centane we travel to Cat’s Pass and start our incredible journey crossing
multiple rivers via the old-fashioned single lane concrete bridges. We cross the Mighty Mbashe River
at the Fyfe King Bridge and navigate the difficult Mbashe Pass. (174km)

Day 3

Depart The Haven Hotel on the northern side of the river we will take a trip inland to the
Collywobbles on the Mbashe river where we hope to see the Collywobbles Cape Vulture Colony.
(81km) Thereafter we make for the small town of Elliotdale for a quick refuel and supplies stock up
and follow much the same route back to The Haven Hotel. (81km) -(Total 162km)

Day 4

Depart The Haven Hotel to Hole in the Wall and proceed on to White Clay Resort, our
overnight stop. Weather permitting, we can take a short detour on route to check out the
impressive Lubanzi Cliffs, a stretch of coast where the Oceanos sank. (+- 106km)

Day 5

Depart White Clay Resort via Coffee Bay as we make our way to Port St Johns. With the
bridge being washed away on the Hluleka river which forms part on the Hluleka Nature Reserve we
are forced to take a 42km detour inland to make our way back down to the coast and get back to the
coastal route. We enter Port St Johns via a seldom used entrance to this coastal town. We enter the
old Military base and check out the viewpoint at Mount Thesiger. We then enter PSJ and make our
way to Cremorne Estate, our overnight stop. (146km)

Day 6

Depart PSJ and make our way to Lusikisiki via the Agate Terrace before heading down through
the Magwa Tea Plantation with stops at the Magwa Falls and Frazer Falls. After a stop at the Magwa
Tea Lounge Restaurant we head on to Mbotyi River Lodge Campsite for our overnight stop. (88km)

Day 7

An early start will see us take a short 23km drive through the Magwa Tea Plantation to
Cutwini village where will leave our vehicles and proceed on a 12km round hike to see the amazing
sights of Mfihlelo Falls, Cathedral Rock and Waterfall Bluff. We will make use of a local Guide
“Simphiwe” to accompany us and give us a history of the area. On our return we will then head to
Lusikisiki and travel the 45km Tar Road back to Port St Johns for our 2nd overnight stop at Cremorne
Estate. (85km)

Day 8

Another relaxing day at Cremorne Estate spent on the banks of the mighty Mzimvubu River.
30th March

Day 9

Depart Port St John’s for home.

Cost of R1150.00 per day per vehicle, 2 passengers. This is a Tour Guide Fee only and all expenses
relating to accommodation, meals, fuel, snacks, bar bills, ferry fees, Reserve Fees, external guide
fees etc. will be for your own account.

Accommodation Bookings are all done through us and a total bill for accommodation etc. will be
sent to you to settle prior to the tour.

Option 1 is to make use of Camping sites where off-road caravans and camper vans are used. This is
inexpensive and will cost around +-R3500.00

Option 2 is to make use of hotel/lodge accommodation where 4x4’s only are used. This will cost
approximately R1450.00 per person per day including DB&B.

We require a Minimum of 6 and a Maximum of 10 vehicles per tour.
